New Front Office Transitions Happening at Bryce Fastener

There have been a few transitions happening at Bryce Fastener over the past couple of years. Any of you who personally know Bryce Campbell (Owner), knows he’ll never retire; but he has been slowly stepping back from the day-to-day tasks after his wife (our mom) passed away in 2022. He has handed over the CEO title to his son Brent Campbell, the accounting tasks to my sister-in-law Tanya Campbell and me, his daughter Rebekah Bowie. Bryce Fastener has been a part of our entire lives, we care deeply about it, and are grateful for the opportunity to help carry it into the future.

I am the youngest of Bryce’s four kids. All four of us loved going to work with our dad when we were growing up in Seattle, Washington. He began Bryce Fastener as a Fastener Distributor in the SoDo District of Seattle in 1972. As teenagers we learned to package screws, put away stock, make deliveries, and wash endless amounts of miniature screws for a large microchip manufacturer.

Every year at our family reunion, we reminisce and laugh at some of our "best" Bryce Fastener memories. My sister once crashed the delivery van into the warehouse while “attempting” to park it, causing a lot of damage to the van and warehouse. My two older brothers used to love locking me out of the warehouse purposely making me late. They would hide my keys at the end of the day and make me play the “hot and cold” game to find them. My dad would hear my two brothers wrestling around in the warehouse (which was a common occurrence), and storm out of his office yelling, “Am I getting billed for this?”

Brent worked here for seven years and helped Bryce Fastener transition from Distribution to Manufacturing after Bryce Fastener relocated to Gilbert, Arizona in 1992. He went on to work as a State Trooper until his return in 2024.

I have been here for 21 years and have seen the steep learning curve my dad and the machinists went through to manufacture these niche security fasteners into what they are today. We initially started out leasing half a warehouse with 5 machines. Today we own two warehouses with over 100 machines utilized in manufacturing our highly specialized tamperproof screws, bolts, and nuts in sizes ranging from 2/56 (M2) - 5/8-11 (M16).

Looking ahead for 2026, we are in the process of making ordering easier for our repeat customers and we have a new and improved non-tamperproof drive in the works. Our new drive has outperformed standard drives in certified comparative tests of torque-to-failure and breakaway torque.

While there have been some changes in the day-to-day front office, what has not changed is our same team of machinists who are experts at making you the most secure screws, bolts, and nuts on the market.

From our family to your organization, we are thankful to be your continued trusted supplier of security fasteners.
