Sheet metal screws are meant for tamperproof screw applications in wood, aluminum or steel. Manufactured in stainless steel, alloy or case hardened steel, KEY-REX™ sheet metal screws have the strength required for high security applications. Head and thread styles are custom designed to fit your specific application which further increase security. The custom key code is cut on a power bit allowing KEY-REX™ screws to be power driven and economical to install.
These combined features make KEY-REX™ screws the most economical, tamperproof, high security screw available.

Our button head styles are designed with a 20% larger head giving Key-Rex™ a lower profile and making it more tamperproof. Power bits are available allowing economical and easy installation. The custom-designed keyway is specific to each user.

Micro self-tapping metal screws are ideally suited for tamper proof plastic applications. Standard micro selftapping screws usually come in a blunt point style and sometimes in a plastics thread. Key-Rex® however, is available in stainless or alloy steel for toughness and designed to meet the requirements of your specific application. Since each screw is individualized, the head diameter is also often customized to add extra security. With the low minimums, and custom features, Key-Rex® Micro self tapping screws are the most economical, high security, tamperproof screws in the industry.

KEY-REX™ Custom High Security Screws Button (Flat) Self-Tapping Screws, 18-8 Stainless Steel
Micro machine screws are tamperproof screws that are very small in diameter and ideal for small instruments or electronics that require high security. KEY-REX® screws are manufactured out of stainless or alloy steel for the toughness required in high security applications. Since each KEY-REX® socket is custom designed, it is easy to custom other features such as head diameter and threads to fulfill specific high security needs. Micro tamper-resistant screws (in any style) are not usually stock items and must be special ordered. KEY-REX® screws do not require big minimums for special orders, and thus are the most economical as well as the most secure tamperproof fasteners available.
